This Privacy Policy describes how DiscTrack collects, uses, and stores information when you install and use our Shopify application.

1. Information we collect

When you install DiscTrack, we collect and store the following information from your Shopify store:

• Your store domain and access token, used to authenticate API requests.
• Discount campaign data, including title, type, value, status, and date range.
• Order data associated with tracked campaigns, including order totals, line item prices, quantities, and discount amounts.
• Product variant cost data when available in your store.

We do not collect personal information about your customers.

2. How we use your information

The information we collect is used to provide the functionality of DiscTrack:

• To display campaign performance metrics.
• To generate daily performance snapshots.
• To authenticate requests to the Shopify Admin API on your behalf.

We do not sell or share your data with third parties.

3. Data storage

Your data is stored in a secure database. Data is encrypted in transit using TLS.

We retain your data for as long as your store has the app installed. If you uninstall DiscTrack, your store's session data is deleted. Campaign and order data is deleted within 30 days of uninstallation.

4. Third-party services

• Shopify Admin API — to read discount and order data from your store.

5. Your rights

You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your data at any time by contacting us. Uninstalling the app will immediately revoke our access to your store.

6. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The effective date at the top of this page will reflect the most recent update.
